Well, I doubt anyone is going to go blade in a tourney or IH. Unless I specify so, I always mean pubs. This reminds me of the whole uproar about my Jaood guide, until people started to realize "Oh, wait, I'm not really going to play Jaood in a tourney. Now I get it." etc. Apology accepted.

how so? i gave detailed explanations of many different strategies for using Jaood. I also plan to update it tonight. I don't see how it fails at all at telling a public player how to use him as a very efficient hero killer. and after i update it, it will also explain some finer points i've discovered whilst using his haze and avatar.

Anyone ever try the imba maul + fox frenzy build? I've found that fox frenzy is made for blademaster. At first I was tinkering around with both the claws + maul build and the claws + frost build, because your killing power comes from crits, not your regular non-crit damage. Then, I tried roots + maul, which was marginally effective but cost 150 gold a pop. Finally, i tried fox frenzy and it's worked wonders. It basically reduces movement speed of heroes around you by 50% for 5 seconds, which is a better slow than frost orb, I think. With this move speed reduction and the buff to windwalk speed, I don't see the need to get expensive boots on my blademaster anymore. At the cheap cost of 66 gold a pop, I pretty much get the effects of both boots and frost orb in one consumable item. Plus it stacks with maul!

That's not all. With fox frenzy, you can stomp while in bladestorm to prevent units from running away from you. This is especially effective with low levels of bladestorm.

It would have a great effect if you used bladestorm->foxfrenzy->invul pot



btw. I think frost orb also slows for 50%. I am pretty sure that frost orb is using this game constant slow which is 50% (at least for melee games).

I think it would be better to JUST use bladestorm->foxfrenzy. Fox frenzy already reduces attack speed by 50%. If you need more help just bring a health stone with. Even with reduced move speed, they would be running away from an invuln bladey, so you wouldn't do as much damage.

After several games of testing with a BM, I find not buying any attack or dps enhancing items is more satisfying and a greater illustration of skill when using such a hero.

Item build:

TP
Frost Orb
2 Belts
Mana Pot
Health Pot

An alternative build drops the Frost orb and a Belt, and replaces with Maul and Fox Frenzy.

Try it out. I make most of my gold off last hits, hero kills and Bladestorm. Rather than spam claws and axes with no intelligence, try and play BM for the stealthy hero he really is.

i thought blood + fox's frenzy would be imbal...but it's really not lol

aoe is small, 50% reduction isn't that high at all, and anyone good carries a speed scroll at all time anyways while anyone retarded you don't need fox's frenzy against

that is seriously some horrible advice sacred, tell me why you would even get a hero killer if that's the style of play you going for? wont you be better off with metal bark or something since you not getting any claws or dps enhancements.

about the fox frenzy, its okay i guess, but seriously its a waste. level 1 bladestorm does hardly any damage at all, barely able to kill a group of footmen, bladestorm is pretty much useless until like level 2 or 3 storms (that's the only time i would consider using fox frenzy and thats only if you got spare item space , normally a boots of speed is way better)

fox frenzy might have some uses when doing hero targeting early game, but then again the child throwing item is ALOT better than this piece of crap you mentioning there, any hero will just tp away early game, however child throw is a semi nuke, so it might catch people offguard, though personally i dont use any of these and just rush claws. the way how the claws are set up in the shops, if you miss one you could be fucked.

some ppl like sacred just get these weird ideas that these flawed strats work, then get owned..

seriously if getting claws is mindless and retarded right , wouldn't it be MORE retarded to use an ineffective item build on a hero? whose more retarded there?
